Dr. Torie Soriano was raised in Carthage, Missouri and attended Carthage Senior High School. Being Dr. Tami Soriano’s younger daughter, she spent many summers working at Carthage Eye Care as a patient care technician. Upon her high school graduation, she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas. It wasn’t until her time in college when she traveled to Haiti with her mother for a mission trip that she found an interest in optometry. With this new goal in mind, Dr. Soriano graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2013 and moved on to attend the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. She graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society with special interest in pediatrics and specialty contact lens fitting.
Dr. Soriano joined Carthage Eye Care as an associate optometrist in June of 2017. She has enjoyed working with Dr. Tami Soriano and Dr. Pyle, as well as the rest of the staff, many of whom she has known for a very long time! She is a member of the InfantSee program, where she provides eye care screenings for infants 6-12 months of age. She also enjoys going to the nursing home to provide comprehensive eye exams, and highly values the relationships she has found with her patients there.
In her spare time, Dr. Soriano enjoys traveling with her family and friends, attending Arkansas Razorback games, hiking, and going on mission trips.
